Bean, Broad (Fava) Tips, Pods and Shelled
Preparation
Wash and blanch for 2 minutes. Drain and then cool in iced water. Pat dry.
Packaging
Pack in labelled and dated bags or containers.
Thawing
Boil from frozen for 3 - 5 minutes, according to size.
Storage Time

French (Green)
Preparation
Top, tail, and wash. Leave them whole and blanch for 1 - 2 minutes. Drain and then cool in iced water. Pat dry.
Packaging
Pack in labelled and dated bags or containers.
Thawing
Boil from frozen for 5 - 7 minutes, according to size.

Runner (Snap)
Preparation
Top, tail, string if necessary and wash. Leave them whole or cut into 2.5 cm pieces. Blanch for 2 minutes. Drain and then cool in iced water. Pat dry.

Pack in labelled and dated bags or containers.

Boil from frozen for 5 - 7 minutes, according to size.

Preparation
